2. An Inspiring Story About the Power of Inner Strength and Determination
When North Shore pup, Ivy turned three, she became suddenly paralyzed in her back legs due to a rare genetic spinal disease. That hasn’t stopped Ivy from living her best life! Her owners knew her story needed to be shared, and wrote a children’s book, Ivy the Very Determined Dog, to inspire children to never give up! Ivy and her family travel throughout New England, visiting schools and hospitals, sharing Ivy’s uplifting story.

Ivy is offering us a special discount of $5/book (“pawtogrphed” by Ivy). Purchase your copy, with free shipping, at this link.

3. For That Cute Family Photo and Beyond
PJs from Primary make a great gift! They’re soft, wash well, and feature simple patterns or solid colors. When my son would only wear orange pajamas we invested in several pairs. Now you can get some of the prints in child and adult sizes, which will make for an adorable family photo on Christmas morning.

4. For Suburban Kids With City Style
Rose & Dove is the only place you can find the Boston Collection of the popular SCOUT Bags. The Day Tripper style is great for older kids (and moms might want to scoop one up for themselves too).

Rose & Dove Specialty Gifts; 565 Chickering Road, North Andover; (978) 689-4141.

5. For the Little Chef
There are four interactive recipe books in this series by Lotta Nieminen: Pizza (pictured), Pancakes, Tacos and Cookies. Pick your favorite and pair with age-appropriate cooking tools or a personalized apron (or this one) for the budding chef in your life. You can also order the boxed set of all four books.

karoke-microphone-550

6. For All Future Stars of The Voice
This shiny, bluetooth, karaoke microphone is shaping up to be one of the hot gifts of this Christmas season. With more than 3,000 positive reviews it’s hard to go wrong. Plus having this under the tree will make your Christmas dinner a little more enjoyable (or cringeworthy).

love-your-melon-double-pom-beanie

7. Beanies for a Good Cause
Love Your Melon is a brand that was founded with the simple idea of putting a hat on every child battling cancer in America. Since 2012, they have done just that and raised more than 6.2 million dollars for the fight against pediatric cancer by donating 50% of their net profits to organizations supporting the cause. These adorable double pom beanies are a fun take on a traditional winter hat.

8. A Way to Play in the Snow Without Bundling Up
Sensory Kits from Let Them Eat Cake and Play feature adorable themes like Winter Wonderland (pictured), Dinosaurs and Unicorns. One kit includes endless possibilities for play-based learning and sensory exploration. Kits are made by Ipswich mom of 3, and former Kindergarten teacher, Danielle.

little-partners-learning-tower-3

9. A Step Up to the Counter
We purchased one of these Learning Towers used (thank you Children’s Drop & Shop) when my son was a year old and it has hands-down been the most used piece of baby/kid equipment at our house. It took the place of a high-chair and has enabled my son to bake with me or just do a puzzle or play at the counter while I’m cooking dinner. We’re still using it daily at age 3 with no signs of stopping. My sister got this the Guidecraft version for her son last Christmas, which is foldable to save space and comes with a non-slip mat.

tubby-todd-bath-bomb-bundle-550

10. For Good, Clean Fun
Tubby Todd Bath Co is a mama-run business that sells body care basics made with natural extracts. We’ve been using their products (starting with this Bundle) since my son was born, due to his sensitive skin and eczema. But if a bottle of lotion under the tree won’t elicit the overjoyed reaction from your kids that you’re going for, try their Winter Bath Bomb Bundle! It includes three bombs each in its own festive scent. Fizzy Bath Bombs are packed with ingredients that moisturize skin, plus a hint of food-grade color that won’t stain your towels or tub.

micro-kickboard-maxi-scooter-550

11. A Way to Get Moving
Micro Maxi Kickboard Scooter comes in this size, perfect for kids ages 5 to 12 and the Mini version, for kids ages 2-5 (which we have currently and love). These things really cruise but are easy for kids to steer. We’ve brought my son’s to the park, on vacation and he also rides it in the house.

gathre-usa-map-550

12. To Map Out Your Next Adventure
Gathre is a small business created by two moms, Jess and Mare. Simply put, they make mats for gathering. The mats are like a tarp, only pretty, or a blanket that wipes off easily and won’t soak through. You can use them as wall decor, a portable play mat, or both. This USA Map Mat measures 36×46″ and is made of non-toxic vegan leather on top and flocked suede on the bottom.
