
The 4th of July is almost here and we’ve rounded up a list of the best places to watch fireworks with your family.
Where to Watch 4th of July Fireworks on the North Shore – 2026
Thursday, July 2, 2026
North Andover Fireworks (North Andover Middle School, 495 Main St, North Andover, MA) – Fireworks will take place on Thursday, July 2, at approx. 9:30pm. There are three official viewing locations with food vendors at each. They include: North Andover High School, Kittredge Elementary School and Patriots Park at Stevens Library.

Andover Fourth of July Celebration (Andover High School, 80 Shawsheen Road) – Andover’s Independence Day festivities will begin on Friday, July 3, at Andover High School with the Annual Fireworks Show, scheduled to start at dusk. Rain date July 6.
Gloucester Fireworks (Stage Fort Park) – Experience the beauty of Gloucester’s illuminated skyline after a waterfront concert on Stacey Boulevard and the annual Gloucester Horribles Parade. Parking located at the Gloucester High School. Fireworks display will take place at 9:30pm. Rain date July 5.
Haverhill Fireworks (Riverside Park) – Catch Haverhill’s Annual Fireworks on Friday, July 3, at Riverside Park. There will be face painting, live music, and food trucks. Fireworks are scheduled to go off at 9pm. Rain date July 5.
Lynn Fireworks (Red Rock Park) – Marvel at fireworks over Nahant Bay from a spot at Red Rock Park, on King’s Beach, or along Lynn Shore Drive in Lynn or Humphrey Street in Swampscott. Firework celebration is from 9-10pm, with a rain date on July 5.
Manchester-by-the-Sea Fireworks (Singing Beach) – The town of Manchester-by-the-Sea’s Biannual Fireworks Show will be held on July 6 at Singing Beach. Kicking things off with a beach concert at 7pm followed by Fireworks at 9pm. Rain date July 6.
Swampscott Fireworks Festival (Town Hall Lawn) – Head to the Town Hall lawn between 5-9pm for the 3rd of July Fireworks Festival! Event includes live music!

Amesbury 4th of July Celebration (Woodsom Farm, 208 Lions Mouth Rd.) – Food and live music starts at 5:30pm, there will be several food trucks to choose from. Fireworks start at 9pm. Event is part of the popular Amesbury Days Celebration. Rain date July 5.
Beverly Fireworks (West Beach, Beverly Farms) – Fireworks show begins around 9pm. Wristbands ($25, for ages 7+) required to enter the beach to watch the fireworks show. Rain date July 5.
Marblehead Fireworks & Harbor Illumination – The Harbor Illumination kicks off at 8:45pm, with fireworks at 9pm. Ideal viewing opportunities for the public from the parks at Fort Sewall, Chandler Hovey Park and Crocker Park. Rain date July 5.
Nahant Fireworks – Fireworks are shot off from Baileys Hill at approx. 8:45pm, and can be seen and enjoyed from many other points in town.
Salem Celebrates the 4th (Derby Wharf, Salem, MA) – Salem’s Independence Day fireworks will take place at Derby Wharf on July 4, 2026. The free, family-friendly event begins at 5:30pm with live music and performances by the 40-piece Hillyer Festival Orchestra. The spectacular fireworks extravaganza is scheduled to launch over Salem Harbor at approximately 9:15pm. Rain date July 18.
Liberty by the Sea – Salisbury Beach Fireworks Show – Fireworks take place from 10:15-10:35pm. Additional events will be held in celebration of the 250th Anniversary from June 30 – July 4. Additional fireworks shows will also take place from 10:15-10:35pm on July 11, July 18, July 25, August 8, and August 22 (weather permitting).
Wakefield Independence Day Celebration (Main Street & More) – The Grand Finale Wakefield’s Concert on the Common will be a spectacular Fireworks Display over the shores of Lake Quannapowitt–slated to begin around 9:30pm. This year’s show will be a crowd-pleaser, as the returning fireworks company, American Thunder, has promised to amp it up in celebration of our 250th Anniversary. Rain date July 6.
