Just in time for the new year, a new fitness studio has opened in Beverly! MYSTRYDE Athletic Club’s third location has arrived at Beverly’s North Shore Crossing–in the Whole Foods’ Plaza, next to Cafe Nero.

MYSTRYDE Athletic Club is owned by two Massachusetts moms, Rebecca Skudder and Lauren Meyer. In 2016, Rebecca and Lauren opened their first MYSTRYDE location in Boston’s North End. A move to Charlestown, second studio in South Boston and 4 kids (ages 7, 5, 4 and 21 months) between them later, they’ve expanded to the North Shore with their high-energy studio offering a daily schedule of small group classes focused on functional strength training, HIIT and treadmill intervals.

Lauren is a Boxford native and Pingree grad and says their new studio in Beverly feels like coming home. Both owners understand that workout needs change, especially in motherhood, which is why their studios focus on feeling your best, no matter your current level of fitness. New to working out? Don’t be intimidated! Try a Tread Class walking on the treadmill instead of running. Strength classes are also geared to your fitness level.

STRYDE Classes take place in their Tread Room with 13 treadmills. Classes are a mix of treadmill intervals and some targeted strength training (depending on the class). Clients can work at their own pace, between 1 and 5 levels of effort. So one client’s level 1 may be walking, while another’s is a light jog, and another’s is a mid-paced run. All levels can enjoy the same class together!

POWER Classes take place in the Strength Room with a variety of weights, medicine balls and other equipment. These classes are designed to build strength and endurance through use of equipment and bursts of HIIT or cardio. Clients gain the strength they need to power through their everyday lives feeling stronger and more confident. What mom doesn’t need a little help so they can more comfortably lift their kids or haul in all those little backpacks, sports equipment or bags of groceries from the car?

Rebecca says her favorite classes are POWER STRYDE or STRYDE + UPPER BODY. She loves the back and forth between the two studio rooms and the mix of workouts all in one. If you’re someone who works out regularly, but is looking for a little variety, this is a great place to start!

For a limited time new clients can sign up for their first 3 classes for just $29 using promo code NSM29! This is a special discount code just for followers of The North Shore Moms.
Moms can also sign up for a membership by January 31st and save 15% on a each month for the life of your recurring membership.
MYSTRYDE Athletic Club offers morning classes daily with some early classes and some with time slots after most school drop-offs.

They also have two full showers for freshening up after class and have partnered with Drybar Northshore Crossing to offer Drybar signature blow dryers and hair products in the locker room.
