The 4th of July is almost here and we’ve rounded up a list of the best places to watch fireworks with your family.

 

Where to Watch 4th of July Fireworks on the North Shore – 2025

 

Thursday, July 3, 2025

Andover Fourth of July Celebration (Andover High School, 80 Shawsheen Road) – The Town of Andover’s Annual Fourth of July Fireworks Show will be held on Thursday, July 3, at Andover High School. The show will begin at dusk, approximately 9:20 PM, and is free for all to attend. The rain date is Sunday, July 6.

Gloucester Fireworks (Stage Fort Park) – Experience the beauty of Gloucester’s illuminated skyline after a waterfront concert on Stacey Boulevard and the annual Gloucester Horribles Parade. Parking located at the Gloucester High School. Fireworks display will take place at 9:30pm, with the rain date on Saturday, July 5.

Lynn Fireworks (Red Rock Park) – Marvel at fireworks over Nahant Bay from a spot at Red Rock Park, on King’s Beach, or along Lynn Shore Drive in Lynn or Humphrey Street in Swampscott. Fireworks will begin at 9pm, with a rain date on Saturday, July 5.

Swampscott Fireworks Festival (Town Hall Lawn) – Head to the Town Hall lawn between 5-9pm for the 3rd of July Fireworks Festival! Event includes live music, multiple food vendors and beer gardens. The event will end at 9pm, just in time for the fireworks show!

Friday, July 4, 2025

Amesbury 4th of July Celebration (Woodsom Farm, 208 Lions Mouth Rd.) – Food and live music starts at 6pm, there will be several food trucks to choose from. Fireworks start at 9pm. Event is part of the popular Amesbury Days Celebration.

Beverly Fireworks (West Beach, Beverly Farms) – Fireworks show begins around 9pm. Bracelets ($20 ahead of time, $25 at the gate) required to enter the beach to watch the fireworks show. Rain date for fireworks is July 5.

Marblehead Fireworks & Harbor Illumination – The Harbor Illumination kicks off at 9pm. Then at 9:15pm fireworks are launched off a barge at the mouth of Marblehead Harbor, which creates ideal viewing opportunities for the public from the parks at Fort Sewall, Chandler Hovey Park and Crocker Park. Fireworks rain date is July 5.

Nahant Fireworks – Fireworks are shot off from Baileys Hill at 9pm, and can be seen and enjoyed from many other points in town. Don’t miss the Wharf Party from 5-10pm and road races earlier in the day. Fireworks rain date July 6.

Salem Celebrates the 4th (Derby Wharf, Salem, MA) – Bring your beach blankets and folding chairs to enjoy the 42-piece Hillyer Festival Orchestra on Derby Wharf at the Salem Maritime National Historic Site for a grand celebration of our nation’s Independence Day. Featuring a Pops concert, a Kid Space play area, and fireworks launched over Salem Harbor at 9:15pm. This is a quintessential celebration of the 4th of July. Rain date for fireworks is August 2.

Wakefield Independence Day Celebration (Main Street & More) – Independence Day will feature events and entertainment from morning until night on July 4. Children’s activities, the Fourth of July Parade, music, and a fireworks display are all taking place. The Parade kicks off at 5pm and the fireworks will start at 9:30pm. Rain date for fireworks is July 6.

Saturday, July 5, 2025

Salisbury Beach Fireworks Show – Fireworks take place from 10:15-10:35pm. Salisbury Beach also hosts fireworks at 10:15pm each Saturday of the Summer. Grab your chairs and blankets and enjoy some fun summer tunes, Saturdays at 7:30pm on the Salisbury Oceanfront Stage. Benches and picnic tables available and plenty of dancing room for everyone! Enjoy takeout from local restaurants, beach pizza, ice cream and more, while you listen to live music from one of the region’s hottest bands.

Sunday, July 6, 2025

North Andover Fireworks (North Andover Middle School, 495 Main St, North Andover, MA) – The fireworks will take place on the evening of Sunday, July 6. The fireworks will be set off from the North Andover Middle School area once it’s dark, at approx. 9pm. There are plenty of other locations around town to view the fireworks as well! The Town Common, Patriot Park, North Andover High School, are all excellent vantage points!
