This week’s Meet a Mom Interview is with Julie Eldridge, a Malden mom of 2, who I think many of us can relate to. When her first child was born she pivoted in her career to a job with better hours (no working holidays and night shifts!) and her business was born. Where are you from originally and what town do you live in now?
I was born and raised in Westwood, MA. I met my husband while going to college in Boston, and haven’t left the area since! We currently live in Malden, MA.
How many children do you have and what are their age(s)?
Isla, who is is 5 and Liam, who is 2.5.
What’s your favorite family activity on the North Shore?
We absolutely love going to Wingaersheek Beach during the summer. It’s convenient, clean, and the kids have so much fun in the water there.
Where’s your favorite place to eat and/or shop on the North Shore?
Woodman’s of Essex for some yummy seafood!
Tell us a little bit about your background and how you got started in aesthetics medicine.
I was working as a pediatric critical care nurse when I had my first child, Isla. After becoming a mom, the job became more challenging (just felt heavier mentally, emotionally and physically). I decided to cut my hours, but then wanted to supplement my income, without having to work a holiday or night shift! I had heard of Botox and how nurses were able to do it as a “side gig.” I pursued my certification and fell in love with the aesthetic medicine world.
Owning and operating Jules RN | Botox is rewarding and FUN but also challenging…the perfect combination in my eyes. I haven’t looked back since. I continued my education and training to improve my skills. Over the years it has grown and I have been able to move into my own studio space. I truly love what I do, especially because of the connections and relationships that I have built with my patients over the years. It’s a rewarding job and I am so happy I entered aesthetic medicine.
What services do you offer at Jules RN | Botox?
I offer neurotoxins (aka Botox), Dermal Fillers, PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy) Injections to stimulate collagen on the face and neck or for hair regrowth, Collagen Induction Therapy, Chemical Peels, Dermaplane Facials, Vitamin Injections, and I carry Alastin and SkinMedica for purchase, which is medical grade skincare.
What are some of your most popular services?
Botox and Dermal Filler (mostly lip filler) is the most popular. I have more of a conservative approach and my patients tend to gravitate toward my style of injecting.
Where is your salon located?
469 Salem Street, in Medford, MA, right inside the Sola Salon Studios!
Do you offer in-home visits or pop-ups?
Yes, I offer group home visits, the host gets a discount and its for a minimum of 6 people. I LOVE collaborating with local businesses and doing pop up events, I have met some amazing people along the way doing so.

Any tips for balancing work & motherhood?
Ask for help when you need it.
Remembering it’s ok to say, “No.”
Calendar management and todo check lists are imperative.
Daily mantra–”I am doing my best, and my best is MORE than enough.”
What is the best piece of mom advice you ever received?
If you only have time to either fold the laundry or exercise….choose exercise. If we don’t take care of ourselves, we won’t be able to take care of our little ones.
What’s your favorite thing to do when you need some “me” time?
Exercise! Running, pilates and yoga are my favorites. Aimless shopping at TJ Maxx, paired with a mani/pedi is good too. And a glass of wine while watching anything on Bravo!
