Have you carved your pumpkins yet? Or maybe you’re a Pumpkin-Painting Mom, or one of those amazing Pinterest Moms who decks their porch out with pumpkins and gourds as soon as the first chill of fall hits? This year, I’m a Waiting-to-the-Last-Minute Pumpkin Mom. And if you are too, this list is for you! I’ve rounded up several North Shore spots to find and enjoy pumpkins. Happy Fall & Happy Halloween!

The North Shore Guide to Pumpkin Patches 2023

Boston Hill Farm: Stop by the store and grab a red wagon to pull out to the field and pick your own pumpkin. Field is open daily in the fall from 9 am to 5 pm. 1370 Turnpike Street, North Andover.

Brooksby Farm: Stop by the Pumpkin Yard to snag a pumpkin of any size, then complete your visit with a treat from the Farm Store or Donut Hut. This year Brooksby Farm has also partnered with SPOOKLEY the Square Pumpkin (anti-bullying and dare to be different) for a Spookley story walk.  Stroll along reading giant storybook pages on Holiday Hill amongst the pumpkins and scarecrows. Finish with a photo of you and our super sized Spookley! Only $3 admission can be purchased at any cashier. Open daily, 9am to 4 pm, except Mondays. 54 Felton Street, Peabody.

Cider Hill Farm: Grab your farmhouse gourds, assorted mums, hay bales, corn husks and scarecrows to get in the fall spirit. Pumpkin pricing begins at $0.69/lb at the Farm Stand. Open daily, from 8 am to 6 pm. 45 Fern Avenue, Amesbury.

Connors Farm: Enjoy fall activities, the corn maze, and a large selection of pumpkins. Daily from 8am to 6pm, all through October. 30 Valley Road, Danvers.

Kane’s Flower World: Kane’s is a regular stop for our family for both mums and pumpkins in the fall. Huge selection of both! Open daily from 8 am to 5 pm. 64 Andover Street, Danvers.

Marini Farm: Pumpkins, fruit, vegetables and more are available at the Farm Stand in October. Open daily from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm. And don’t miss the Hallow-Marini Party on Saturday, 10/21 & Sunday, 10/22, from 12-3pm with a DJ, Dance Party with Characters and a Trick or Treat Hunt. 259 Linebrook Rd, Ipswich.

Nunan Florist & Greenhouse: Lots of pumpkins and mums available at this garden center. And there’s mini golf and ice cream available when you visit at the neighboring Cafe Sarina! Open 8am-5pm, Monday through Saturday, and 9am-5pm on Sundays. 269 Central Street, Georgetown.

Smolak Farms: Pumpkins are available at the farm stand daily from 7 am to 6 pm, and the pumpkin patch is open for you to pick your own on weekends from 9 am to 4:15 pm. Plus don’t miss Smolak’s Fall Festival Weekends with live entertainment, hayrides, face painting and more! 315 South Bradford Street, North Andover.

And one more…

Halloween on the Hill – You can’t bring any pumpkins home from Long Hill in Beverly, but you can enjoy a seasonal-themed trail featuring over 1,000 jack-o’-lanterns, hundreds of mums, elaborate Halloween decorations, light displays, music, and more. This is the perfect Halloween event for the whole family! Open Wednesdays-Sundays through 10/29, from 5:30-8:30pm. Advanced tickets are required. There are still some weekday (and a few later weekend) time slots left for this. 572 Essex Street, Beverly.
