Feast & Fettle is a local meal delivery service, based out of Rhode Island, and servicing all Massachusetts towns North of Boston. Feast & Fettle offers home-cooked meals, without the cooking! Their high-quality meals are prepared locally and hand-delivered to your home. No need to worry about mail delays and items spoiling like with some other meal delivery services.

Each week you can choose from a curated menu, designed to accompany all dietary preferences and allergies. Customizable plans are built for households of any size. Feast & Fettle also offers a good variety of add-ons each week. You could easily select a few add-ons to help tackle school lunch packing or mornings where you’re too busy to cook breakfast.

Last week, for my family of 3, I ordered the Couples Plan, thinking mainly of what my husband and I would like, and then added Mac n Cheese for my (picky) son, which I paired with fruit we have on hand. The Couples Plan includes three entrees and five sides for $139/week.

For my three entrees I chose Lasagna, Grilled Steak Fajitas with Lime Crema and Roasted Broccoli Grain Salad with Chipotle Pumpkin Seed Salsa (which I ate for lunch twice, instead of dinner) and then for my six sides I selected Crisp Green Salad with Creamy Poppy Seed Dressing, Pear & Roasted Beet Salad with Lemon Vinaigrette, Chili-Lime Sweet Potatoes with Lime Crema, Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Roasted Broccoli with Honey-Dijon Glaze.

I added on Mini Mac & Cheese and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Energy Bites (which I grabbed with my coffee running out the door to school drop off). The menu changes each week, but there are staples that remain the same, like Simply Grilled Chicken, Steak and Salmon.

I really liked having the bag of meals delivered on the first day of school. We had just returned from vacation the day before and our fridge was empty!

Like most kids, my son was exhausted after the first day so I appreciated that it just took 5-7 minutes in the oven to reheat a hearty meal. It’s also nice that the heating instructions are available to scan from a QR code on the front of each package.

A few years ago I tried Feast & Fettle for the first time and we ordered for several busy weeks in the Fall, but got out of the habit when we had some travel and other commitments mixed in that required us to skip a few weeks. Coming back to Feast & Fettle now, I love that they offer more flexibility on delivery days (they deliver Monday through Thursday) and you can skip any week without penalty. Plus the food is tasty and the menus offer a range of options from basic to more adventurous.
