Nazir’s Fine Jewelry is an established North Shore jewelry store, located in the charming Hobbs House (from the late 1600’s) in Wenham. The store is owned and operated by Nazir Shamsuddin and his daughter, Emily Mehta.

I recently stopped by Nazir’s on a sunny, fall morning to ooh and ahh over all the sparkly things at the store and talk to Emily about holiday trends in jewelry. I trust anything Emily tells me about jewelry, as she is both stylish and a Certified GIA Diamond Graduate. Plus she has been helping with her dad behind the counter since she was in elementary school, so I’m pretty confident she knows jewelry!
Emily said the most popular holiday jewelry gifts this year are going to be stacks: ear stacks, bracelet stacks and multiple necklaces. This trend is really fun and is a great way to combine some of the jewelry pieces you already own and love with a fresh addition! Try a gold paper clip chain, 70’s inspired liquid gold necklace or herringbone chain…Nazir’s has them all!
She also said to keep an eye out for pearls in a fresh way. I love the necklace shown above because the pearl is gold. The pearl earrings Emily is wearing below with the drop necklace are also gorgeous!
In addition to Emily being super helpful, I love shopping at Nazir’s because while you browse, you can have your wedding rings cleaned and have the stones checked to make sure they’re still secure. Nazir’s is also well-known for jewelry repairs of all kinds and watch battery replacements.
Nazir’s has a fun holiday event coming up with two other Wenham Businesses. On Wednesday, December 7, they will be partnering with The Wenham Tea House and Irresistibles for a Sip & Shop, from 4-7pm.
