The office of Tzortzis Lane Real Estate Group is a new addition to downtown Ipswich and I had the pleasure of visiting it last week. The Group is part of the Bentley’s Real Estate LLC out of Newburyport and was founded by two friends and Realtors: Tina Tzortzis and Erin Lane. Tina and Erin are both local moms. Tina is from Nashua, New Hampshire originally and now lives in Rowley with her husband and two sons, ages 7.5 and 6 years old. Erin and her husband are both born and raised in Ipswich and are now delighted to be raising their son and daughter, 10 and 8 years old, there too.
The two first met at Bentley’s four years ago and connected over their experience being Realtors and moms. When Erin had to undergo surgery last year, she needed another agent to take over a listing and immediately thought of Tina. From there they knew they could truly rely on one another and the idea to open their own office grew.
Their Ipswich space is bright and sunny, and is the former home of Luxa Jewelry (who moved across the street). When Tina and Erin found out the space was going to be vacant they took the plunge and opened in June 2021, but shortly after they signed the lease they were approached by the production of the movie Salem’s Lot, (based on the Stephen King book) to use their office for filming. They agreed and had fun watching their office transform into a 1970’s real estate office, complete with huge filing cabinets and vintage decor. Once Salem’s Lot completed filming in October, Tina and Erin had a chance to settle into their space and cultivate the welcoming feel you experience when you visit today.
Tzortzis Lane Real Estate Group helps buyers and sellers list and purchase their dream homes across the North Shore. They have had listings from Lynn up to Newburyport and then as far West as Haverhill. Their office is very family-friendly with a sitting area for the kids to hang out while parents talk about their real estate goals, and a TV for playing all the latest Netflix hits. Also, snacks! Did I mention snacks? On the day I visited they had delicious treats in the office from Three Sweet Peas Bakery Cafe in Rowley.
It’s no secret that the real estate market is competitive right now, but the two Realtors have had a lot of success stories with their clients. They both have a good pipeline of new listings coming to market this spring and they believe that the 2022 market will be similar to 2021 (though things can change at any moment). For potential buyers, the pair specialize in thinking outside the box to close deals and say it’s not all about crazy cash offers. Clients need to also take into consideration favorable terms on an offer like long closes or lease backs. The biggest thing they both said was that, “it’s never too early to start the conversation about buying.” They welcome you to their office for an appointment to discuss your buyer goals, wants, needs and timeline. They also have an attorney and a lender on board to help streamline the whole process.
In addition to being friendly, knowledgable Realtors, they are also both very connected with the North Shore community. This is a huge asset if you’re new to the area or looking to move to a new North Shore town. Tina has experience serving on the Triton School Committee and Erin is on the Ipswich Little League Board of Directors. They both are very active in the Women’s Business League, with Erin being the Founder and Leader of the Ipswich Chapter and Tina being a member and the Founder of the Newburyport Chapter.
