DIY Simmer Pot Holiday Home Fragrance | The North Shore Moms

Before your next holiday dinner, put a pot of this DIY home fragrance on your stove. It’ll instantly fill your house with warmth and joy, with none of the chemicals or fake fragrances you’ll find in some plug-ins or candles.

Equipment

Large Dutch oven or pot

Materials

1 orange, sliced

4-5 sprigs fresh rosemary

2 cups fresh cranberries

10 whole cloves

3-4 cinnamon sticks

 

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large pot and fill with water to cover.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
  3. Simmer for 3-5 hours, topping up with water every 30 minutes as needed to cover ingredients.
