Do you love peaches as much as I do? Peach Festivals and pick your own (PYO) peaches are sometimes overlooked in favor of the more popular strawberry and apple picking seasons. But many local farms grow peaches and three are hosting celebrations this year.
2021 North Shore Peach Festivals
Smolak Farms – 315 South Bradford Street North Andover – Smolak Farms will host their Peach Festival on 8/14 and 8/15. Check their website smolakfarms.com for details coming soon. PYO peaches are available daily, while supplies last, from late July through August.
Cider Hill Farm – 45 Fern Avenue, Amesbury – Cider Hill Farm will host their Peach Festival over two weekends in August: 8/14 & 8/15 as well as 8/21 & 8/22. Festival is held from 8:30am-4:30pm. Event will feature free live music, outdoor hard cider bar, family-friendly activities, hayrides, food truck specials, homemade peach treats, and pick-your-own peaches. Entrance to the festival is FREE. It includes free live music from 12-3 pm and access to family activities. Does not include pick-your-own, hayrides or food/drink offerings. PYO peaches available daily, while supplies last, from late July through August.
Connors Farm – 30 Valley Road, Danvers – Connors Farm will host their Peach Festival on Sunday, 8/21, from 9am-6pm. Rain date 8/22. General admission ($14.99) includes the following activities: Jumping Pillows, Farm Animals, Hayrides, Cow Train, Ropes Course, Singing Chicken Show, Grain Train, Duck Races, Pedal Carts, FREE pony rides from 1pm to 4pm and much more! Take a train ride on our custom built Putnamville Railroad. Buy tickets here. U-Pick peaches also available at an additional charge, during the Festival.
PYO Peaches
Boston Hill Farm – 1370 Turnpike Street, North Andover – Boston Hill Farm will be open for PYO peaches and apples in late August, from 9am-5pm daily. Check their website, bostonhillfarm.com, for more details.
Brooksby Farm – 54 Felton Street, Peabody – PYO peaches are available daily, beginning in late July. Check their Facebook page for picking times at facebook.com/Brooksbyfarm.
