Updated, March 22, 2020.
As of now most fitness studios in our area have closed their doors temporarily. But that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to enjoy your favorite workout from home.
Fitness studio owners and instructors across the North Shore have hustled to bring their classes online. Below is a beginning list of these virtual offerings. Find your favorite studio or fitness type and tune in to keep active and decrease anxiety as we navigate COVID-19. If you aren’t already a member of one of these studios, email them about how to join and access their great online content. You won’t get the feel of the studio, but you’ll get to know the amazing instructors and feel a sense of local community as you work out.
Studios are listed in alphabetical order and comprise a variety of fitness types including cardio, strength, yoga, sculpt and more. All studios are taking into account that you probably don’t have a lot of equipment lying around on short notice, so most just require your body weight or perhaps a set of bands or small weights (use those canned goods you stocked up on!). Scroll to the bottom of the list to find virtual classes for kids.
A Mom’s Village – Classes are available online for members via a private Facebook Group.
