Meet Christina Vieira, a Travel Advisor who owns travel planning business, Showcase the World. She specializes in Disney, cruises, and European tours. Christina makes the perfect mom to interview for our Meet a Mom series because her job is to research the details of your next trip so you don’t have to! Her mission aligns perfectly with that of the North Shore Moms: giving moms the gift of time.

Where are you from originally and what town do you live in now?
I grew up in Methuen and recently bought a home in Danvers after renting in Beverly for the past 4 years.
How many children do you have and what are their age(s)?
I am a new mom!! My daughter Annabelle is 8 months old.
What’s your favorite family activity on the North Shore?
We love Mommy & Me movies at CinemaSalem, playing at Room to Bloom in Beverly and attending music classes and mommyTIME at A Mom’s Village in Peabody.

What’s one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
Back when I had free time I used to write themed Murder Mystery parties.

I am currently trying to get my own business off the ground. I have been a Family Travel Advisor specializing in Disney Vacations with an agency for the past five years. I am starting out on my own so I can inspire families with small children to go beyond the conventional family destinations.
I believe you shouldn’t have to be overwhelmed by the planning process, stressing over every detail and wondering if it is all worth it. You should know that someone who actually cares about what is best for your family is taking care of everything so you can focus on enjoying the moment.
I want to help busy moms:
• Spend less time making reservations and planning itineraries
• Have confidence they got the best price with discount checking
• Experience no frustration being transferred from call center to call center

• Save hours navigating the black hole of conflicting information on the internet that may not necessarily apply to them

What is your go-to meal for your family?
Annabelle is still breastfeeding and my husband has a lot of night meetings so I usually just have to feed myself. At the beginning of the week I shred some chicken to keep on hand for sandwiches, to throw on a salad or my personal favorite – add to a sweet potato with buffalo or bbq sauce.
What is the best piece of mom advice you ever received?
If both you and the baby have both eaten that day then it’s a good day.
