Join Joan Ilacqua, Executive Director of The History Project: Documenting LGBTQ Boston for a overview of the Stonewall Riots and the 50 years of protests and celebrations that followed. Using photographs and stories found in The History Project’s archives, we’ll cover Boston’s first pride commemoration and march and the continued debate about whether Pride is a celebration, a protest, or both.

This event is free and open to the public.
