Outdoor Movie Night: Hocus Pocus

October 8 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm


Bring along your popcorn and picnic blankets for an outdoor showing of everyone’s favorite Halloween movie, Hocus Pocus! This event is free and open to families, teens, and adults. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets, though chairs will be provided by the library. We hope to see you there!

About the movie: After moving to Salem, Mass., teenager Max Dennison explores an abandoned house with his sister Dani and their new friend, Allison. After dismissing a story Allison tells as superstitious, Max accidentally frees a coven of evil witches who used to live in the house. Now, with the help of a magical cat, the kids must steal the witches’ book of spells to stop them from becoming immortal. (1993) (Rated PG) (1hr 35m)

Location: This program will take place outside of the library on the lawn of the Historical Society.
