One World: A Story, Song, and Hands-on Musical Instrument Experience
August 9 @ 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm
FreeAcclaimed storyteller/musician John Porcino will take folks on a whirlwind tour around the world. He’ll tell funny and moving stories and play a variety of instruments. Then, children will be invited to learn about, touch, and play some of the instruments. John aims to give participants a taste test of the world we all share, and celebrate the similarities and differences that help make our world so sweet.
Recommended for children ages 2-9 and their families/caregivers. This program will be held outside on the Lynnfield Town Common. You are welcome to bring a blanket to sit on. No registration required.
This program is funded by a grant from the Lynnfield Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
