Lego Train Weekend Special Event
October 17 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
One event on October 17, 2021 at 12:00 pm
EVERYTHING IS AWESOME! Calling all LEGO fans – we’re excited to welcome the LEGO Train back to the Wenham Museum for a special fall-time visit! This a rainbow colored, L-gauge model train speeding along a brick track as it races by soaring skyscrapers, country cottages, mountainside ski slopes and much more. All features are designed with the highest degree of precision (and a sense of humor!) by the New England LEGO Users Group (NELUG). Some Halloween-themed surprises will be included in this fantastical LEGO display. Special Thanks to the New England LEGO Users Group (NELUG) for sharing their creations with us! All ticket proceeds from the LEGO Train benefit the nonprofit Wenham Museum.
Advanced Reservations are required for everyone including members. Please Note: Library Passes and free passes are not eligible for this special event.
Masks are required inside the Wenham Museum for all visitors aged 3 and up.
To ensure the safety of all visitors as well as our staff and volunteers, the following adjustments have been made to the visitor experience:
Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your scheduled time. Lego Train Weekend Participants will queue up outside Burnham Hall and will be invited in once the room has cleared of the previous timed-ticketed visitors. You are invited to enjoy and explore the Lego Train display for 25 minutes. You will be asked to exit the Hall at the end of your 30 minute ticket time. Save time afterwards to explore the rest of the museum galleries included in your ticket price.
- We ask each party/family group visiting the museum to consider a $5.00 donation to the museum’s recovery fund.
- If you must pay for your reservation with cash or check, please contact Visitor Services at (978) 468-2377, ext. 113 during business hours.
- Keeping our newly expanded operating hours will require more donations to support staffing, utilities, and exhibit and program supplies. In a typical year, admissions, memberships, and shop sales provide just over 30% of the museum’s funding. Your donation makes the difference! Make your donation online at wenhammuseum.org/donate.
- Inclement Weather Policy: in the event of current or forecasted inclement weather, the Wenham Museum may need to close its galleries and gift shop. All weather-related closings will be posted on the museum’s website and Facebook page at Facebook.com/WenhamMuseum.
