Grade 2, Junior Great Books, meets on one Tuesday afternoon per month. Registration is required. In an established book club format, short stories feature themes of friendship, courage and responsibility, as students begin reading for meaning and sharing ideas around what they have read . Participants read (or have read to them) one assigned story each month before attending the program. The program builds on comprehension skills.
