Family Farm Chores at Appleton Farms

Every day is full of a list of barnyard chores we need to get down to make sure our farmyard friends are happy and healthy! Let’s get to work.

Join us for our special, hands-on Family Farm Chores program held on Saturdays and Sundays, and now also on Friday afternoons! Get on your muck boots: your whole family will get to be farmers together! Help feed Violet and Vanilla, the rabbits, and Morgana, Maeve, Merlin, and Mordred, the goats. Collect eggs from our flock of chickens. We might even take the goats for a stroll on their halters!

This is a immersive, hands-on experience best suited for families—adults and children alike will get to try their hand at a variety of tasks. Be sure to wear sneakers or other closed-toe shoes when you join us in the barnyard.

Please note: Participants will be asked to follow Covid-19 related guidelines, including wearing face coverings and maintaining social distance. If you are experiencing symptoms, please do not attend the event.

Space is limited for this event and pre-registration is required.

We will meet at the Carriage Barn, following signs from the Farms Offices parking lot.
